News Releases - Nike Junior Tour
From October 30th to November 3rd 2006, La Manga Club was the proud host of the 10th annual Nike Junior Tour International Masters. The tournament brought together over 80 of the world’s top junior tennis players in the 12 and 14 years categories from 21 different countries.
Play was of the highest standard throughout and although the last day’s was rained off (a rare event in this part of Spain!) it would have seen an all-Spanish final in the boys Under 14 category between Javier Marti and Carlos Boluda, following in the footsteps of world number 2, Rafael Nadal, himself a 3-times winner of the tour.
